Tim Stainton, PhD is a Professor at the School of Social Work, University of British Columbia and Principal Investigator on the Community Living Research Project. He is author of numerous works on service and supports for people with intellectual disabilities, disability rights,individualized funding, history, ethics and theory. He is a board member of the Canadian and the British Columbia Association for Community Living. He lives in Delta BC and has four children, one of whom lives with an intellectual disability.

Cameron Crawford is Director of Research and KnowledgeManagement for the Canadian Association for Community Living, aCanada-wide association of family members and others working for thebenefit of persons of all ages who have an intellectual disability. Hewas previously President of The Roeher Institute, a leading researchorganization that looks at issues of disability and public policy fromthe perspective of human rights and inclusion. Cameron has researchedand spoken extensively on issues of disability and employment, incomesecurity, education, social services, personal security and violence.He has conducted this research for the federal andprovincial/territorial governments and a range of non-governmentalorganizations in the voluntary and private sectors. He has served aslead facilitator for several major national and regional conferences ondisability and violence, aging, employment and inclusive education.
Rachelle Hole, PhD.

Rachelle Hole, PhD is an Assistant Professor of SocialWork at the University of British Columbia Okanagan in Kelowna, BritishColumbia. She has extensive research experience in the areas of agingand disabilities. She has also held a number of direct practicepositions working with people with disabilities and their families.
Susan Powell,PhD
Learning and Education Consultant
Susan Powell is a consultant specializing in staff development and curriculum design, particularly as it relates to inclusive communities. She has extensive background in integrating students with intellectual disabilities, and adults with disabilities. This work has extended to teaching in teacher education, allied health professional and community support worker programs. She has a Masters in Special Education from the University of Oregon; and a PhD in Adult Transformational Learning from the Union Institute.
